I have been working side by side with Dr. Enriquez and his team for almost 4 years! From managing our three offices, to planning our next staff outing, I always make sure the office stays up to date with the latest technology and that our staff and patients have the most beautiful smiles!

I have 7 years experience in the dental field and enjoy educating students at our local dental school about orthodontics.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband and our 1 year old daughter.

Treatment Coordinator

As treatment coordinator there is nothing more fulfilling than being a part of each and every single one of our patients orthodontic journeys. Not only do I work with an amazing staff, but also most importantly Dr. Enriquez. I truly believe in team work makes the dream work, and that is something I can say Humboldt Orthodontics stands by. I make is a goal of mine that every single patient that enters the consult room feels welcomed and informed with the various treatment options we have to offer.

Registered Dental Assistant

I started my dental assisting career in 2021 and knew immediately that I wanted to be in orthodontics. I was a patient here at Humboldt Orthodontics and really enjoyed the duration of my treatment and the overall vibe of the office, so it's special to be working here now. A few of my favorite parts about this job is the independence of working one on one with the patients and watching their confidence bloom as their smiles change! I really enjoy working for Humboldt Orthodontics because I am a part of a strong team that likes to push each other to be better everyday.

Outside of work, my interests are baking (mostly sweets), traveling with my husband, trying new foods, and collecting enamel pins.

Scheduling Specialist

I schedule patients in all three office locations and it is my greatest pleasure being of service to everyone during each of their appointments. I am so proud to be a part of an office that loves to prioritize detail and perfection in every patients smile. Working with a passionate team that strives for excellence is empowering because we work together to make sure our patients have the best experience.

I am double majoring at Cal Poly Humboldt! So in my free time I often find myself wrapped up in academics. I love research and learning new concepts or analysis.

Dental Assistant

I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at College of the Redwoods in 2021. Right after graduating, I began working here at Humboldt Orthodontics and have loved every bit of it. There are so many things to enjoy about working in orthodontics, but I think my favorite is watching the patients confidence grow with their smiles. I also enjoy helping my patients pick out fun new colors for their braces and creating unique patterns that they will love. I am very grateful to work with such a great team and could not picture myself anywhere else.

In my free time, I love to draw, go on walks, listen to music, and spend time with my friends and family.

Records / Media Specialist

This is my 6th year working as the Records / Media Specialist. This position has given me the opportunity to be the initial contact in our patients smile journey. My favorite part of what we do is watching the smile transformations! I take pride in growing the practice. Through social media, I have the opportunity to reach out to the community.

Born and raised in Eureka, I enjoy outdoor activities like fishing, lake trips, and traveling to concerts. I value spending my free time with my husband, two beautiful daughters, two fur children (Chief & Moose) and of course, my family and friends.

Shannon

Dental Assistant

I started my dental assisting career in general dentistry. After about two years, I found my love and passion for orthodontics. Even while having braces for three years, I always enjoyed going to my ortho appointments. Having braces gave me more confidence and changed my life in a lot of ways. I enjoy working in this field because I love when patients get excited about having a new smile and you can visibly see their confidence boost. 

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my dog Pablo. I rescued him from the shelter in June of 2021, and he's become my best friend. I also drive racecars locally in Eureka at Redwood Acres. I've been racing for a little over three years now and it's the most fun thing I've ever done. Most importantly, my number one priority is being with my family as i'm very family oriented. Overall, I am a very cheerful person and am always looking to have a good laugh and put a smile on everyone's face!

Dental Assistant

I started my dental career by interning and shadowing local dentists back in 2018. Through that experience, I gained a love and passion for the dental field. After graduating with my B.S. from Sonoma State, I started working as a dental assistant in a general practice and knew dentistry was the perfect fit for me. When I started work for Dr. Enriquez, I fell in love with my job even more. Seeing how excited patients are to transform their new smile is incredibly rewarding. My favorite part about working here is when patients see their new smile for the first time and being able to be with them throughout the journey. Although I am the newest to join the team, they have welcomed me with open arms and have been such a supportive group. I am truly so fortunate to work with such amazing people. 

If I'm not at work, I am usually spending time with my niece or going on hikes with my puppy, Oliver. I love spending time with my friends. Our favorite things to do are go to the beach and go to trivia! I am also currently studying for my DAT and will soon be going to dental school.

Dental Assistant

In 2018 I began working as a summer intern at the local dental clinic. It was that summer I realized working in the dental field was the right path for me. While attending the dental assisting program at College of the Redwoods earlier this year, I was placed as an intern here with Humboldt Orthodontics. I am so grateful I was chosen to be added as a part of this amazing team. My favorite part about working in ortho is the creative aspect and the small details. I truly enjoy being a part of our patients journey and watching their teeth progress as well as their self esteem.

Outside of work I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, and being in nature. I'm fortunate enough to live in one of the best places to explore and have the best people to explore it with! If i'm not outside exploring or driving to visit family, I'm either reading, baking, painting, or in the winter, snowboarding.
